We are taking off...leaving for sunny LA!

Christmas Tree Hunting......

Brady is on the loose!! Tree hunting is not easy and camo helps with the element of surprise.

Grammie and Grandpa always get the perfect tree!!

It was the day after Thanksgiving, a warm beautiful day and Grammie and the kids got to go for a stroll.

This was our 6th year as a family going to the same place to get our tree. And it's still only 25 bucks!! It is always a special day for all of us.

Pumpkin Carving!!!

Here we are gutting some pumpkins! Can't wait to eat those pumpkin seeds!

Here's daddy's pumpkin....notice how crafty I am by using the side with the indentation as a canvas for my weird face.  I know.

The kids quickly find the nostrills and attemp a boogerectomy. GROSS! It was like orange snot!

We apparently need to take a shot of all the pumpkins because I only have this one uploaded. We had lots of fun with our pumpkins and the seeds were GREAT! The best seeds I think we ever made..the secret is Olive Oil and lots of sea salt. YUMMY.

Pumpkin Hunting

 We went to our favorite pumpkin patch...Oak Haven Farm in Holly, Michigan. It was a beautiful day 65 degrees and sunny. Nice for October!

Brady and Haley jump in the wagon! They can't wait for daddy to pull them around the farm!

Haley and Julia search for the perfect pumpkins! They both are crazy about this time of year!

We always check to see how much the kids have grown from year to year! We think the hole they stand in is getting bigger too.

Found some pumpkins!!

Of course we need to relax and eat some yummy donuts and apple cider! This year they even had live music for everyone to enjoy

We also got the chance to feed some smelly animals and visit the place where we got "Pumpkin" our bunny rabbit last year.

So now we have our pumpkins and can't wait to carve them! We especially love eating the seeds! Can't wait for Halloween
